so come in enjoy a coffee and a snack,  while your children add their personal touches to the gifts bought in the shop.
while not available every day, we hope you will find this option a little bit different to the normal seaside gift,
HISTORY
My name is Janet and welcome to my Crafty Cwtch!               I started the ball rolling on this venture back in 2017 but it was not until February 2019 I  finally got the keys to my very own shop! My husband Dave and I decided it was time to break away from the mundane work routine and give working for ourselves a go, all be it Dave's role currently more part time,it was a challenge to take now or forever wonder what if.
The format was simple and came from my many years working with children and wanting to give them the chance to explore their artistic side while mum and dad can help them and enjoy a coffee and a snack at the same time.
All this and dog friendly too! with well behaved owners of course.
while gifts are there for the less ambitious, the aim is to have craft based  gifts available to purchase that children can make up on site while mum and dad help them and enjoy a coffee and a snack at the same time, although currently the craft side of things has yet to ''arrive'' it is on its way, but initially getting up and running is our main priority.
The website too is a work in progress and will slowly evolve as time goes by, this is why some pictures show a shop that is a work in progress, please bear with us.
On gaining the keys we walked into an ex junk shop.... it smelled, had seriously dodgy electrics, with no electric supply! and we almost walked out again...….
But we changed our mind, many weeks went by, we stripped painted tiled drilled hammered, redid all the shops electrics, overhauled the plumbing and knocked it into something now resembling a shop, but the fine tuning still is going on..... Our thanks to our immediate neighbours Ian and Ema on the one side and Gem on the other for putting up with it!!
So as time goes by more will be added, we hope to update you of our progress, and let you know of any upcoming events in the shop and Brixham in general.
You can find contact details on here and we can also be found on facebook, so whether local or on holiday, all are welcome, please pop in for a coffee a welshcake (made fresh onsite) and a natter...… I look forward to seeing you.
     Diolch yn fawr…..
Janet...….
